New Brunswick Performing Arts Center

The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, completed in 2020, is an exciting new addition to the theater district in downtown New Brunswick. Funded in part by the city as an element of their municipal arts program, the new building includes two mid-sized theaters, a gallery, bar and concessions, county office space, dance studios, and ample rehearsal space.  Above the podium program sits a new residential tower with Manhattan views -- the highest planned in the city of New Brunswick.  As a member of a very small design team, I primarily resided over a portion of the interior planning, including residential unit design, lobbies, and the theater amenity spaces, as well as the overall management of the drawing set and Revit workflows.

I had so much fun spending time with these simple little resi- units.  I love them!  Sometimes I feel that architecture only really happens in small spaces.  Perhaps real genius lies in seeing them lucidly.
